Hair Growth Pictures that I have taken over the last couple of years. With proper hair care, the right hair products and a little TLC, I was able to get my hair back in shape.

I have long straight brown hair, side bangs and layers that the shortest is at about my ear. I either want a scene haircut with the short layers and such but still keep it long. or cut it all short (like above my shoulders length). But i need help finding pictures. i want something that doesn’t take very much maintenance. like i don’t have the time to back comb everyday. but i will straighten it. So if you could send me pictures of cute haircuts that would be extremely helpful.

i usually wear my hair down and im getting kinda tired of it. does anybody know of some cute updo’s i can do? Like some twisties or something? A picture would be appreciated =]. My hair is to the end of my neck, very close to my shoulders.

TIPS FOR UPDOS ON BLACK HAIR:
1. Updos work better on hair that is slightly dirty. Don’t attempt them on hair that is freshly washed as it was be slippery and have no hold.
2. Work with your texture. If you want a sleek updo you will need some gel to prevent fly away but some of your hair is going to want to come loose so leave some tendrils out so it’s purposely messy. Create styles your hair can do.
3. Acessories, acessories, acessories. Napptural and curly hair can be highlighted with bows, ribbons, hair bands, bobby pins, hair clips, cowrie shells, head bands, scrunchies, flowers, beads, hair sticks, jewels, decorative combs, tiaras, rubber bands, scarves, wraps, hats etc. They make the hairstyle pretty, on lazy days they make a hasty style look complete AND they have the added benefit of weighing down hair. Ex. You may need beads to hold down some style if your hair is very light and poofy.
